another interesting thing i found, when you cut your ingredients when you are preparing food, if you put it there, it will weigh your current amount you have.

well, personally i think its rather good cause normally if we were to follow recipes when cooking, they will state how many grams we are supposed to put, without having to use the weighing machine. its like combining 2 things that we will be using together.

and this also got me thinking, maybe we could have combine 2 things that we will be using for sure together. maybe something like joining the fork and chopsticks together. so in anyway, we can choose to use fork or chopstick, as both of it also serve the same purpose.

great design for lovers who are living at different sides of earth. even if you feel lonely, while lying on this pillow, allows you to hear your lover’s heartbeat like as if he/she is near you. at the point of time, you’ll feel that you are not alone and connected to your lover.

but i think they can add something that transmits their voice over, if they really want to talk, they can talk through this, instead of having to call each other. and also maybe something that satisfy the sense of touch, like transmitting warmth. not just listening, you will be able to feel like as if you guys are really near each other.

transparent toilet. imagine yourself using such a toilet. it’s rather scary.

normally when you use a toilet, you will only see 4 walls facing you. this time, you will clearly see what’s going on outside, you will be scared if, people from the outside will be able to see you or not.

still, with the technology described, saying the people outside will only see the “clean” toilet, which means wont be able to see what’s going on inside, people will still feel the sense of insecurity when using the toilet.

but well, this feels interesting, for the first time you will see, who is walking pass, what’s going on in the “normal world” when you are inside the toilet. instead of being enclosed, it feels so “free”.

very useful for nanyang poly, cause normally we dont have enough place to plug our laptop chargers, and if we were to use those multi purpose plug that allows us to put 3 plugs, the pinpoint beside will not be usable anymore since one of the plug is in the way.

so if the plug were to be folded and plugged together, this way we could save more space, 3 plugs at one pinpoint.

but what im scared of, wont the electricity trip? imagine every pinpoint has so many other plugs, it would be dangerous.

musical table. using the object that is designed, to place on the table, you will be able to change song, adjust volume, view video and show lyrics to the song.

this is interactive as you and your friends can sit around, place the thing everywhere, get any song you guys want to listen to while sitting down to drink coffee.

rather than sitting down reading a book, newspaper you can do something more interesting. like watch a short music video or something.

but i think maybe they can use different kinds of cup to represent the “objects” that are designed to do the functions. It would be better. but what if there is a crowd and there are many cups on the table? maybe they can divide the table into many parts, there can be 2 or more songs playing at once, so many they can make use of headphones.

otherwise they can make it even more interactive, like using cups, to create a 2 player game. have fun!

haha. this is really useful for me. normally my ideas come to me when im showering. normally when you’re not doing anything, that’s when your ideas come. This really comes in handy, cause normally i think of something and after i come out of the toilet, i wont even remember what was i thinking of earlier.

If the paper is really big, you can even do drawing while you are showering!

one of the most interesting clock i’ve seen.

this alarm sonically detonates at your hour of choosing and can only be turned off by ‘cutting’ one of the wires. Choose poorly, and you have to hear the echoes of this time bomb as it rattles your bedroom; choose wisely and you can roll over and get a few more winks before you begin your day.

why do i think it is useful is because, you will have 3 possibility to stop the alarm. if you choose wrongly, you will really get annoyed by this alarm as it is said to “echoes of this time bomb rattles your bedroom”. so its either you stop it completely and go back to snoozing or else it would be “hell” for you.

Also, for people like me who are more difficult to wake up, i have to place 5-6 clocks around my room and put them at different times to ring. Somehow i always know where to go, snooze them and end up sleeping in again. which makes this clocks i have really useless.

If i were to wake up to a alarm and right away i have an “important” decision to make, i guess even if i don’t get the correct one, i will be already awake. First thing in the morning upon waking up, having to thinking of what to do and not just walk to the clock and press the button to snooze it.

But irritating clocks like this, i guess they will either be smashed or else, when you wake up you will already find the battery taken out from the clock already.

a interesting design, some people believes the more you visit the toilet to “detox” you will be able to loose some weight. therefore some people came up with this design, so you will be able to see how much you weigh before and after you finish using the toilet, suitable for weight conscious people.

what if, the person is very very weight conscious, for example a obese woman or man, sitting on this lid will only make them more guilty of their own weight.

also, there is this toilet lid that is called tag toilet lid, everyone will get their own toilet lid. So you dont have to worry about hygiene issues, like having to clean it before using, if you are using it at home.

but there is a problem, what if there is a guy in your home? guys normally flip up the toilet lid before using otherwise those who have poor aiming skills will dirty the lid. And imagine you, as a girl you will have to put down the lid and “flip” to your own lid. it would be rather heavy to do so, if you have maybe 4 members in the family. Unless this lid can sense someone nearby, and put down the lid whoever it is.

For me, i would want my lid to be comfortable, like you will be able to feel comfort when you sit on the seat. For diarrhea cases, you will have to spend a huge amount of time on the seat, therefore when you are already in pain, you would not want the pain on your butt to irritate you further, right?

A tea cup with a mixing ball that you swirl to stir. And with a protruding, curved base, the ball does not fall out as you tilt back to drink.

Its something different from what we always see, a normal looking cup. Well i think if this were cheap, i would buy them.

Sometimes when we drink our tea/milo/coffee, they often have this residue stuck below, sometimes the last mouth you drink is normally the one that has “the most taste”.

With this, we don’t have to use a stirrer, we just have to bring this cup out.

But, there is also one problem.. if you were to twirl the cup around, won’t the drink spill?

Maybe they could design something for people, like stain free cup or something. Sometimes if we were to leave a cup filled with coffee or what, they will stain the cup and dirties the cup and after a very long time, you wont be able to get off the stain.

A fireplace, modernized. As Singapore is a really hot place, so we don’t see this here in Singapore. Plus i also think that people living in countries that has winter will think this is really useful, i think.

- It doesn’t dirty your house, like those ashes/smoke that are not environmental friendly.

- Runs by fuel, so you wont have to gather firewood.

-You can easily adjust if you want the fire to go bigger or smaller, or hotter or cooler.

- Don’t have to build chimney, can be placed anywhere in the house.

But i think that, maybe they should do it such that, it shows a image of fire burning and there’s something inside that emits the heat out(acts like some radiator), this way, younger children wont get hurt if they were to go near.

Although its rather environment friendly, lessens the air pollution, still it runs by fuels to keep the fire burning. maybe they could have made it such that it runs by electricity, which is better.

And, if there isnt any fire burning, maybe this could be used as a normal looking chair, that people will be able to sit in. Serves 2 uses, provided that the “chair” doesnt suddenly start burning. Otherwise, the fireplace will be useless if the weather isn’t cold, it will be just a nuisance if you place it there but don’t use it.
